Hi, I’m Tom. I’m eight years old and I love my school day. Every morning, I wake up early and have a big breakfast. My mom makes me milk and bread. Then I walk to school with my friend, Lily. We sing songs on the way.
Our first class is English. The teacher, Miss Green, is very nice. She teaches us new words with pictures. I like to say “apple” and “banana” loudly. After English, we have math. Numbers are fun! I count from one to one hundred.
At noon, we eat lunch together. My favorite is chicken and rice. Then we play on the playground. I run and jump with my classmates. We laugh a lot. The bell rings too fast!
In the afternoon, we have art class. I draw a rainbow and a happy sun. Miss Green says my picture is beautiful. I feel so proud. At three o’clock, my dad picks me up. I tell him about my fun school day. I can’t wait for tomorrow!
